The window is open now
Indonesia reopened.
In July 2026 Indonesia cleared its first forestry projects to issue carbon credits internationally, ending a three-year freeze. The national carbon registry, SRUK, went live on 9 July 2026. MoF Regulations 6/2026 and 7/2026 set out the pathway. After three years of waiting, Indonesian forest owners can move again.
EUDR is fixed and close.
The EU Deforestation Regulation applies from 30 December 2026 for large and medium operators, and 30 June 2027 for micro and small operators outside the timber sector. In May 2026 the European Commission confirmed there will be no further delay. Producers and exporters of palm oil, rubber, timber, cocoa and coffee need plot-level evidence of deforestation-free, legal origin before then.
Both of these need the same thing: credible, plot-level evidence about land. That is what we build.
180Climate is an Indonesia forest and nature-asset platform.
We combine carbon project development, EUDR readiness, climate finance, and digital forest intelligence to help turn Indonesia’s forest and land-based opportunities into credible, evidence-backed, market-ready nature assets.
What We Do
Carbon Project Development
-
We originate, structure, and co-develop forest and nature-based climate projects across Indonesia, including REDD+, IFM, peatland, mangrove, restoration, and other land-based carbon pathways.
EUDR Readiness
-
We help producers, exporters, traders, and EU-linked buyers prepare plot-level geolocation packs, forest-risk screening, legality-document readiness, and evidence support for EUDR due-diligence workflows.
Digital Forest Intelligence
-
We use GIS, land-cover analysis, concession data, forest-risk indicators, and early-stage screening tools to assess carbon potential, EUDR exposure, project feasibility, and land-origin credibility.
Climate Finance & Offtake
-
We support investor structuring, project financing, strategic partnerships, and pre-sale offtake pathways so credible forest and nature projects can move from opportunity to execution.
Registry & Certification Pathway Support
-
We guide projects through international carbon-standard pathways such as Verra and Gold Standard, working with qualified technical specialists, validation and verification bodies, and implementation partners where required.
Our Mission
-
To turn nature’s climate value into sustainable opportunity — protecting forests, supporting communities, strengthening market access, and delivering credible returns for our partners.
Our Approach
-
180Climate combines scientific rigor, local relationships, digital forest intelligence, and commercial structuring.
-
We start with the land: its forest cover, carbon potential, legality, community context, commodity linkage, and market pathway. From there, we help forest owners, commodity producers, exporters, investors, buyers, and strategic partners identify what is credible, what is financeable, and what needs to be prepared.
-
For carbon projects, this means moving from raw forest opportunity to structured, registry-aligned development.
-
For EUDR readiness, this means moving from uncertain origin data to clearer plot-level evidence that can support buyer due diligence.
For investors and partners, this means better visibility, better documentation, and better execution discipline before capital or offtake commitments are made.

Why EUDR Matters now
The EU says EUDR applies from 30 December 2026 for large/medium operators and 30 June 2027 for micro/small operators, covering cattle, cocoa, coffee, palm oil, rubber, soy, wood, and related products. Covered products must be deforestation-free and produced in line with local law.

Why work with 180climate?
-
Contracted, not speculative.
Signed cooperation agreements with four Indonesian concession holders across Riau and Kalimantan — 131,439 hectares under active development. Executed agreements with named counterparties, not a prospect list.
-
Built for origination.
Nine forest opportunities originated across approximately 312,000 hectares. Owners come to us for a fast, honest read on whether their land can carry a credible project — including when the answer is no.
-
Four decades of forestry lineage.
Our majority shareholder has spent over forty years in Indonesian forestry and owns the concession behind the Sumatra Merang Peatland Project (Verra 1899), certified under VCS and CCB and operating since 2019. That lineage is why concession holders take our call.
-
Singapore base, Indonesian ground.
A Singapore company with its operating relationships, field partners and regulatory work inside Indonesia. We work in English, Bahasa Indonesia and Mandarin, and our leadership has built and run assets there for over a decade.
-
Ready before the market reopened.
Indonesia's forestry carbon export market was frozen for three years and reopened in July 2026. We spent that window originating, screening and contracting — so our pipeline is ready now, not starting now.

Join us in creating a future where nature thrives, communities prosper, and every investment makes a difference.
